Each user in Dentrooper has a username and password, and each user is assigned to one of the nine Roles: Admin, Course Doctor, Clinic Instructor, Clinic Front desk, Student, Lab, Infection Control Officer, Accounting, and Initial Consultation. Definable Procedures and steps: create or modify dental procedures and set their icons, names and other properties. Create or modify steps for each procedure.
Add customizable attributes to clinical procedures: Set attributes in different forms as extra info at the procedure level which could be used in the setting of the course requirements.
Add rich customizable forms: Set a customizable form for each step to be filled by the students while working on the respective procedure. Set instructor approval on desired steps according to university policy.
Set Course requirements: assign courses for each semester and for each course the set of procedures with their respective required number of cases.
Dentrooper can be set to automatically send SMS reminders to the universities’ patients prior to their appointment. The SMS is sent in the university’s name and it has a three lingual template where the patients receive the text in the language set for their convenience in their profile.
Dentrooper supplies a highly advanced reporting tool, where sophisticated reports can be generated and their structure gracefully manipulated to come out in the most convenient and meaningful display.
Doctors can assess the students’ work and also send comments to the students in the form of notifications. They get a global view of the students’ progress as well as a detailed glance down to the information put into each step of a procedure.
Auto generated passkey per session: at the beginning of each session the instructor signs in and gets a passkey which will be used to approve the students’ progress in the procedure steps; this helps the instructor oversee the students’ work.
Instructors also grade the students’ work as they give them approval on the required steps.
Monitor instructor attendance: as the instructors sign in and out of the sessions, their attendance is recorded.
Dentrooper manages everything from the creation of the treatment plan, to assigning the patients to students and handling of the patient appointments.
The Front desk has a global view of the progress of each student and that helps them to assign the next patient to the student in need most of that type of procedure to complete his/her current courses’ requirements. Also the front desk can take the class attendance with a click of a button.
Schedule Views: day/week/month view per doctor or per clinic. The Front desk uses the day view per clinic to check in a patient using the magnetic ID of that patient which was issued from the system.
Real time patient count in clinic: Number of current patients in Clinic is displayed per course treatment.
Through the treatment page, the student works closely with the instructors on the assigned procedures and is given approval where required on their respective steps’ info. The student is also notified when the patient has arrived and is checked into the system.
Student Portal: The students have a “student overview” page where they can view their progress in the semester’s courses, check their schedule and create appointments for their current patients. They can also review the doctor’s comments and the procedures in progress.
Complete Lab workflow: Dentrooper handles and tracks instantaneously lab requests between the students, to the front desk and to and from the labs. The labs could be on the premises or outside the university. The lab can accept or reject requested items and set a due date for the accepted ones. The students can track where their items are pending. All the lab items’ movements are recorded.
Supervise, assess and grade infection control measures taken by the students according to the university infection control policy.
Issue invoices and create payments for the patients’ treatment.
Patient Profile: on the first visit of the patient, the profile is filled and an ID card is printed for that patient which will be used at the front desk to take appointments and check-in the patient upon arrival.
Patient Medical History: is also filled out as part of the first visit process.
Medication alerts and prescriptions: All current and previous medical treatments and medications are recorded, and important or relevant cases are marked as alerts. These alerts notify any user who opens that patient’s profile or treatment page.
Treatment plans: A primary treatment plan could be set upon the first visit with the chief complaint of the patient which would help the front desk direct that patient to the proper department for treatment.
Integration with imaging machines: Dentrooper can be integrated with any digital machine, so that the patient is created once on Dentrooper and then is automatically synced with the patient list on the imaging machine software.
Also when the patient’s images are taken by the machine they are automatically linked with the patient’s profile on Dentrooper and the students can directly view them through Dentrooper.
